Philanthropy
A Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund of $35,000 has been set up to provide graduate student support in Astrophysics at the UC Berkeley to fulfill one of his dreams.
That's what I call philanthropy. It's easy to donate money in a foundation or charity. Instead, invest in dreams, in startups, in periodic upkeep of schools, in sustaining public infrastructure like libraries or parks where children can grow, invest in skilling, training, and enabling people. Philanthropy is not about writing a cheque, it's about doing something productive that can fill a gap and create an actual impact. And that takes time and effort.
