Survival of the Fittest

It seems like eventually all political structures tend to merge into capitalism. Perhaps state control and communism are destined to face the wrath of ideological obsolescence amidst the shine of capitalistic freedom. Perhaps survival of the fittest applies to political theory as well and capitalism is fated to survive.
