Virus and Self-defence

I think we'll be better prepared infrastructure wise, if we stop treating this like a pandemic and face the fact that it's a biological war. And the thing with war is that, the threat never goes. Our guards need to be up from now on till eternity. Much like why we have to prioritise space exploration because that's the next mode of warfare coming our way. Same goes for healthcare and it needs the same vigour. You don't temporarily deploy submarines in the sea during wars and dock them later. You keep them running and on constant guard. That's what it is now. The way it's mutating and the way it's spreading, this is not a healthcare crisis- this is warfare.
