Movies as a Medium of Change

Films are a very important change agent, especially in India. My vision for the film industry is that, we make more movies like Jagte Raho, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, A Wednesday, Queen, Uri and such. I'd like to see actors from the northeast being cast in roles that don't really involve a story about the northeast, or women being CEOs of a company casually in a story that isn't about women empowerment. I would like healthy models to be cast as main leads in stories that aren't about subtle social messaging. I would like dark skinned people to not be a message for womens day alone. 

All in all I want change in the collective consciousness of people in a way that is not an achievement but a norm and I admire any person who wishes for the same.
