Perception

I wish I could hold your hand and
take you away.
From this madness called religion,
that has blurred your vision.

These spectacles through which
you see life.
I wish I could take them off,
put you to bed,
sing you a lullaby
as you fall asleep
only to awaken to a new world
where only faith and god exist- 

untouched by complexities of this world.

Pure,

raw

and real.

I wish there was someway
I could show you that
the world you're trying to change
remains the same,
only our perception changes
and things automatically fall into place.

Law of attraction
or whatever you may call it,
but you see what you want to
and get what you deeply desire.

If you search for happiness,
happiness finds you.
